1.25 Inch Epic Ice PreyBait Hand Injection Mold

The 1.25 Inch Epic Ice PreyBait, "hand injection" style mold was designed as part of a collaboration with Marling Baits.

The Epic Ice PreyBait is a pin-tail bait with a fish shaped body designed to be fished on tungsten jigs for ice fishing but can also have other applications. The pin-tail spike off the back of this bait gives off vibrations with even the slightest movements of the rod while the body gives an extremely realistic micro baitfish profile and texture.

For optimal results, this bait will work best with a soft plastisol but a medium blend will also work.

This mold contains 10 full body cavities for shooting full, single colored baits and the same mold also contains 10 tail cavities which can be used to make separate colored tails. To shoot different colored tails, inject the tail cavities and pull them off the sprue then align the tails in the full profile body cavities and shoot the bodies onto the tails. A small amount of worm oil rubbed on the tails before putting them into the body cavities will help with this process.
