Hatchet Head Jig Lead Mold

This lead mold allows you to make Hatchet Head Jigs in 1/16oz, 3/32oz, and 1/8oz. There are 4 cavities of each weight using both sides of this mold (2x of each size per side) for a total of 12 cavities. This mold uses a WB400 wire keeper and was designed around Mustad 32746 hooks in size 1-6 but accepts a wide variety of other 90 degree hooks.

These hatchet style jigs allows you to punch down through deeper water to target crappie and other panfish. When jigged it has an erratic fast darting action mimicking fleeing bait fish causing reaction strikes.

This mold features solid cherry hardwood handles, an integrated hinge and hook hanger so you can hang your molds on the wall or place them onto a sturdy shelf.

The hinges of this mold should be oiled with a 3-in-1 oil as needed to keep the hinge moving smoothly over time.

Made in the USA from 6061 Aluminum and Cherry Hardwood (handles)
