5.4 Inch Epic WhipWad Hand Injection Mold

The 5.4 Inch Epic WhipWad is a "hand injection" style mold we designed as part of a collaboration with Marling Baits.

The Epic WhipWad is a swimbait style body with a large curly tail. The body features an anal fin, scales, gill plate details, and a spot to glue on 1/4 inch or 6mm eyes. The body is 2.7" long and the full bait is 5.4" long. The curved back of the bait helps to hide swimbait hooks tightly to the body. The tail is thick, packed with details and features four different raised sections to provide tons of reliable action and texture. The hook slot insert can be flipped around to create baits with a hook slot for designed to fit a 4/0 beast hook or no hook slot so you can rig these baits on a jig head.

This bait can be used with soft, medium, or hard plastisol. When using soft plastisol, the bait has incredible action at a very slow speed. When using medium plastisol, you can creep the bait through structure on 1/8oz of weight creating a ton of action. When using a harder blend of plastisol, you will get max durability and a faster tail action in saltwater.
