7.5 Inch Epic PreyBait Hand Injection Mold
The 7.5 Inch Epic PreyBait, "hand injection" style mold was designed as part of a collaboration with Marling Baits.
The Epic PreyBait is a boot tail swimbait with a rear fin designed to have an intense action with realistic presentation, with a kick and wobble on the fall.
The hook slot is sized to fit a 12/0 Owner Beast Hook, and with hook slots on top and bottom it is easy to rig this bait perfectly every time.
The eye sockets are .4 inch in diameter which allows you to use 10mm (.393"), 3/8" (.375) or 9mm (.354") eyes. The belly hook slot plate locates easily with two tabs on the end, and the back hook slot plate is bolted into the mold to hold it in place. The back hook slot hides the hook point and makes this bait weedless.
For optimal results, this bait will work best with a medium / hard or hard blend of plastisol such as a swimbait or tube / craw blend.
* Due to the size of this swimbait, it is extremely difficult to shoot laminated (two+ colors) baits with this mold. Color swirling and cold cracking may occur when attempting laminates.

Mold shots great
As with all Epic Bait Molds I own, this one shoots great! I myself have not had any issues getting this mold to laminate. Fantastic bait for Northern Pike and Musky here in the upper peninsula.
