Wow, What a Fantastic mold. I am not sure what kind of fish you were making this grub for, but I have been making them for some fishing captains in Alaska fishing Ling Cod and Yellow eyes. Everyone has been pleased with them. I ended up putting a 1/8" rod down the middle ending at the tail. it seems that the captains normally punch a hole in the center with a coat hanger in order to add a hook on the tail. the hole also allows the jig hook to be centered and less likely for the grub to split, the jig head they use is 16.0 ounces, That's a huge hook. I love this mold and am buying a few more soon. Thank you so much.
